L'Entrecote @ Duxton Hill
Located on the quaint Duxton Hill area at Tanjong Pagar - L’Entrecôte The Steak & Fries Bistro, serves up a Parisian concept of the traditional entrecôte (a premium cut of beef rib) and fries. Do note that there is only 1 main course, which is accompanied by a salad and unlimited crispy fries.
We started off with the Green Salad with Walnuts (part of the main course) and some bread.
A friend recommended the Oven Baked Beef Marrow. A few scoops of the artery clogging collagen on top of the bread made this a delightful dish to savour. Definitely not for the calorie conscious folks.
We also tried the Oven Baked Camembert where I was literally transported to cheese heaven. A must try for cheese lovers!
And finally the main star, their legendary Trimmed Entrecôte Steak with free flow french fries. We were advised by the serving staff that they follow the done-ness as how it is in Paris, which means 1 level lower than what you would typical get from Singapore restaurants (which generally tend to get serve a well done or medium-well steak when you order medium done-ness).
L’Entrecôte has a cosy ambience and is a fantastic choice for a nights out with friends over a delicious steak.
