Staycation @ St. Regis Singapore Hotel

This year, I celebrated my birthday with a staycation at ** The St. Regis Singapore**. Located in the Tanglin district, the property is steps away from Orchard Road, as well as the Botanic Gardens. Do note that there no sheltered access to non-hotel food options (i.e. an umbrella or vehicle is required should it rain)

The check in area is on the left side of the lobby. At each check in desk, there are a couple of seats for guests to sit down while checking in concept similar to The Capitol Kempinski.

Upon entering the room, we were greeted by a bar counter with coffee/tea making facilities, which also housed the mini fridge below.

The lead in bedroom category is 52 sqm and definitely feels large by Singapore hotel standards. It even includes a day sofa area for chilling.

The bathroom is almost completely decked in luxurious marble. The shower is separated form the toilet and bathtub area, it also comes fitted with a spa massage shower set which shoots water at different angles.

Lovers of bathtubs rejoice! All rooms in St. Regis come with a free standing bathtub which is big enough to fit 2 full grown adults. Yay!

The biggest highlight of the stay is definitely the 24-hour St. Regis Butler Service which includes hot coffee and tea at any time of the day (more info).

The swimming pool is surrounded by plenty of greenery with plenty of deck chairs available. It was a cloudy when we went which may not be doing justice to the photos taken. Definitely one of the better pools for relaxing and sipping chilled drinks.

In room breakfast was a little underwhelming due to the P2HA restrictions. The savoury pastires were decent, however the nasi lemak chicken wings and waffles could be improved.

My concluding thoughts, St. Regis is certainly one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The fantastic service and luxurious room amenities hit all the right notes. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and highly recommend staying here.
