Langauge of Flowers Afternoon Tea @ Conrad Centennial Singapore
In early May, Conrad Centennial Singapore launched a new floral themed afternoon tea - Language of Flowers, which includes a range of petite sweet bites and savoury delights. With the recently implemented Covid-19 restrictions, where dinning is prohibited, we decided to indulge ourselves and get a set to share on a lazy weekend.
I have always had high tea dining in the restaurants, this being the first time I am taking away a high tea set. I was pleasantly surprised that the box used to carry the little treats is so pretty! Luckily everything survived the ride back and is intact. phew
The floral themed bites include:
- Rose - macaron, rose butter cream, lychee and raspberry
- Marigolds Orange - candied orange, sous-vide duck, cream cheese sandwich
- Blue Pea - goat cheese, chives, unfiltered olive oil, himalayan black salt
- Mimosa - mango chantilly, passion fruist jus, vanilla sponge
- Rosella - lemon mustard roasted chicken sandwich, cream cheese, cucumber
- Cucumber Flowers - taramasalata puff
- Jasmine - slow cooked pearl rice mousse with biscuit
- Lavender - hazelnut dacquoise, lavender crémeux, earl grey mousse and pâte sablée
To end it all off, there is raisin and plain scones, accompanied with strawberry jam and clotted cream
My favourite treats would be the Blue Pea and Mimosa. Look forward to try new afternoon tea sets launched by Conrad in the future.
